Rolex Discontinued Models

There's news on the horizon that the GMT II Pepsi and Yachtmaster will be discontinued either this year or in 2025. Anyone out there with additional info that can add to this?

Useless to surmise as no one knows.
Rolex refers to these models as "retired".

No way after they posted that 4 minutes commercial on the Pepsi GMT. The Pepsi is here to stay.

The Pepsi won’t be discontinued but won’t be available to AD as much either. They will use that Pepsi bezel on white gold version and avoid hyping up aftermarket prices on stainless model. Rolex will continue churning out the new black/grey bezel because it’s much easier to make than Pepsi. It just my opinion!

Wow! I’m so excited with ANOTHER discontinuation “news” of the BLRO! And it’s only just June 2024. Imagine next year in the run up to W&W 2025! Can’t wait for daily BLRO discontinuation rumours until one day it becomes true! Could be 2025, 2026 or 2027, but one day it will come true! Have faith! #NeverGiveUp!

If you like it & can afford it, get it. If you don’t like it, discontinuation doesn’t matter. What am I missing here?

The GMT Pepsi has been around for 70 years except for the short time they were perfecting the bi-color ceramic process. Pretty unlikely that we would see the end of this icon.

As to the Yachtmaster, it has never been a big seller. Perhaps it will live on in the titanium version.

I doubt that there is "news on the horizon", but very possibly "rumors abound".

You're a bit early. The bandwidth-wasting static usually starts around January, try again then.

The same 2 predictions every year:
#1: Pepsi being discontinued
#2: Coke being released.

Predictions made every year are no longer predictions; Just wishful thinking.
