Yachtmaster 29 HELP NEEDED!
Hi! I'm new to the forum and I'm a Rolex novice. I've been researching & looking online for about a year, and my favorite model is the platinum 29mm Yachtmaster, which they no longer make of course. I've viewed so many photos of them and read about how to spot fakes, etc. (namely buy from a reputable dealer), but there's one area of the dial that I'm questioning. I've seen it both ways on reputable sites, and I don't know if one is fake or if they were made two ways. I'm hoping someone on here can help me! It's the area under the 6 where it says "Swiss Made." I will try to attach the photo I have of the two styles in question. Which one is genuine--top, bottom, or both??? Thank you so much!!!

Looking through Rolex AD sites with Certified Pre-Owned YM 29mm models, I'm seeing 2005 model year images closer to the upper picture in your post. I'm not seeing any Certified Pre-Owned YM 29mm images where any portion of the last "s" in "Swiss" sits above the "6" marker. Chrono24, with listings over multiple model years, has YM 29mm models with both (and more) layouts regarding the "Swiss Made" and hour/minute index/marker placements. Bottom line, it appears the layout varies by year.
