Big news!
I found two actual Rolexes in a Rolex boutique tonight that were for sale, a two tone 36mm DateJust and a ladies Datejust - sales guy said we're headed in the right direction when I asked what he was seeing - for anyone interested they are in the Rolex shop in the Fashion Square mall in Scottsdale.

Can you give more of a description of each? PM or TT? Dials?

Ladies Datejusts have not been hard to get, and what color dial and configuration on the TT Datejust 36? I’m guessing it was not a popular model.

Hardly “big news” but the sentiment we’re trending back to normality for obtaining certain models is a positive sign. The most popular models will likely still remain difficult to procure IMO.

In the UK my AD the last few months has had multiple DJ41 two-tones, DJ41 smooth bezel and many PM sky dwellers and other PM pieces.
Slowly it is happening and with a good relationship a lot more is possible via a short wait. |

Harsh guys? For some of us even a ladies DJ is a rare sight? With all the AD games out there with any Rolex piece.. so yes big news for some…

Actually, availability is really improving. I always read with envy when someone said they manage to buy a Rolex when traveling.
It happened! I just bought a JC DSSD from the Rolex store at the airport. Tax free too!! However, there were still many people asking for Rolex which I witnessed almost every other minute my SA gleefully telling the others “oh, we had just sold the Rolex, no more stock for the day” |

Thanks OP
There are still many Rolex ADs and boutiques that still have nothing for sale in the windows. Perhaps in certain regions things are freeing up more than others and good to hear this is happening. |

Bazil, I want to be clear I wasn't hating on the OP. Personally, I wouldn't have created his post with the title "Big news!" as I thought it was a misleading title after reading it. That is the reason I said what I said.
I think most on TRF would agree with me that this isn't big news but I do appreciate that the OP might have been surprised with product actually for sale on display. My apologies to the OP if I sounded disrespectful.

On a recent trip to Singapore, I visited a boutique owned by a company called the hour glass, they had several non-SS DJ, an SS SD43 and SS DSSD for sale.
For avoidance of doubt, the prior mentioned sports models were immediately offered to me for sale. I sat down, tried them on and was offered to purchase either of the dive watches by the salesperson. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
