Got it for £9.5k versus a £11.5k retail as well duty free !

You can get lucky if you ask enough times !

I've never been checked when flying into LHR, but I was always just transiting to elsewhere. But what's the duty free limit in the UK and are they strict about looking for people bringing in luxury goods they got duty free elsewhere? I have Global Entry in the US and never ever get checked, didn't even have to pull out my passport when coming back into Phoenix from Frankfurt on Sat.

His original post is misleading, I also read it to mean he received a 17.25% discount but he did not, he paid the full list when I converted from pounds. He didn’t pay any tax or duties, that’s all.
