Sightings
As I walk around campus I've always got my eyes peeled, trying to spot the nicest watch I can. In the 3 and some years I've been here, the nicest watch I've seen so far, other than mine that is, is a Rolex Air King.
What's the nicest or coolest watch you've seen, other than your own of course, as you've gone about your daily activities? |

When I waited to pick up my 116718 in New Bond St, London I glanced at two Newman dialed 6241s a 1665 NOS, Milgauss 6541, Double Red and others that I can't even remember.
All in a shoddy display cabinet. It was surreal. The next time I visited I just missed the armed robbery by 30 minutes, seriously.

Best I've seen is a lonely Air-King. Beyond that, you're talking Invicta or lower- G-Shocks rule.

Not that hard to spot nice watches in New york city. Just stand outside of Wempe and you'll see a bunch of old men with Hublots, Pateks, vintage Rolex, Audemars, and even A Langes.

Don't get to see much rolexes around here, but I did spot a Calatrava in SFO. Couldn't believe it at first, but I talked to the guy and he seemed very WISish so I'm guessing it was the real deal.

Best one I've seen in the flesh is a Royal Oak Offshore with a rubber strap. Huge angular thing that looks like a tank!
Next nicest ones are a TT gmt II and the white gold sub.

Best watch I've seen in the wild by someone not known to me (IE- not a family member) would be a TT Date Just. I'm sure I've passed by many others, but unless the watch sticks out, I rarely notice what the guy next to me is wearing. Today however I spotted this HUGE (had to be 50MM+ in size) TT chrono watch. Upon closer inspection, it was in Invicta of some sort.

I saw an Omega DeVille the other day, but so far the wide world of watches here is very, very dull.
