Hey all, I'm looking for a great outdoors/sports/military watch, but I'm not very knowledgable about watches, so could you please give me some recommendations that I could look at.

The watch I'm looking need to be rugged, have an alarm function, chronograph functions (it could both time duration of events, or set to a certain time), month/week calendar, and could adjust automatically to different timezones; a compass or gps is prefered, but not necessary. I'm looking to spend around 1 grand on it.
