This picture has got some good comments

On the bird forum, where most of my pictures are hosted, the following picture of a kestrel has been getting a lot of attention. I thought I'd share it with you.

To the picture thieves out there, it's copyrighted to me.

Great shot, Adrian. You've managed to capture all his predatorial equipment Mother Nature has so generously endowed him with - the hooked beak, the powerful vision and those deadly talons!! Well done!!

Not to mention the machine gun and bazooka that's hidden behind the pole.

Seeing that Kestrel Adrian brought back a few memories of my African Eagle Dell.He was a large and very powerful bird, but always quite friendly, and loved to fly in the open, and was a very obedient bird, sadly he passed away around 3 years ago.

Why don't you watermark it?

I'm a bit of a duffer where Photoshop is concerned. I must read up on these things.

Nice one Chip.

I might have put something like keep your thieving hands off!!

A friend of mine says he will help me with the colours but the original was more natural, in fact it was exactly as photographed. Your's is more striking but it's unnatural.

I always liked the more striking look I guess.

But like you said, yours does look more natural.
