Heathrow

I was offered a piece at UK T5 but they offer the retail uk price only with no discount even if shipped. Any thoughts on this?

Yes because "tax free shopping" finished as a result of the conservative government.

Must be too late to find out. He’s probably on a plane to Chicago or somewhere.

It would be interesting to know what reference was offered. And as mentioned tax free shopping is a thing of the past in the uk now

I was at Heathrow T5 the day before yesterday flying to SF and was offered a bluesy that they had in the display cabinet. I’m not into TT metals, but was surprised that it was for sale…. Naturally, I left it for someone who’ll love it more.

I’m pretty sure the Harrods BB is available sans tax if ordered on line and shipped to the US. Is bought on line the key?

When they ship it to the US, the US Customs will slap you with tax and duties. So while it is shipped without UK VAT, you will suffer US Customs and Sales tax
