General thoughts on this watch.

My son's girlfriend just bought him this Rolex, not my cup of tea but I was curious about the opinions of other Rolex lovers. Is it a sought-after watch or just an exaggerated model? It's guaranteed authentic and I'd appreciate hearing opinions. Thank you.

Did she buy it at a DEA seized property auction or something?

I guess it’s the thought that counts and no one has ever bought me a Rolex. If it’s his thing I hope he wears the hell out of it and enjoys it.

Horrendous and I don't mind diamond watches but this one is way too gaudy

My son collects Rolex and other high-end watches. He may never wear the watch, but it will be part of his collection.

Curious as to what she paid. Those photos are very poor and maybe distorting how they really are but those diamonds don’t look Rolex. Specially the ones between 7 and 8 o’clock. Two photos show the same angle cut not typical.

Not to offend anyone here but it’s simply horrible, one of the worst watches ever seen… I can’t believe this is an original Rolex

Who guaranteed this authentic? I doubt it. Highly so.

Regarding the gift, it’s the thought that counts.

As stated before, I don’t want to offend anyone who actually likes their watches full of diamonds but I have never seen such a monstrosity of a Rolex. I’ve seen some pretty dang bad ones, but this, is on a whole other level.

I would have your son verify its authenticity as this whole watch, including the bracelet, is just bad. But as others stated, it’s the gift that counts.
