Panerai on the wrist
Could you please show pictures of these watches on the wrist? I am coinsidering purchasing one but have been told they are extremely large. Therefore, I would like to see the watch on the wrist.

Most panerai's are 44mm or 45mm. If you are going to purchase a panerai, then trying one on would be more useful than pics

Panerai on wrist
I totally agree but I requested pictures of watches on the wrist to provide me with a personal perspective. Do you have one on the wrist? I would love to see it.

It's all about how it fits on your wrist. You just need to try it on.
My wrist isn't so round but rather flat and thin so the lugs don't hang over the edge. Just try it on. It is going to be big at first no matter what, but give it a min. Wear it for about 15min around the AD. It'll get "smaller". Do the lugs hang over your wrist, etc? That is what makes it not fit, but if you don't care, who cares???? Just wear it. If I'd have the money, I'd be owning a 217 for my 6.5" wrist!!!! I don't care what others think. My 111G on my 6.5" flat wrist.

Here's my 44mm PAM 88
It's big but feels fine on my 6.5" wrist. All my watches are on the big side of things (44mm or larger) so I'm used to 'em

Let it be known that once the wrist tasted PAM,"the smaller rest" always looks a bit lost after that >> I present to you ..... my "tiny 19.5cm wrist" !! |

My wrist measures 6.5" (16.5cm) and is flat where the case sits. The watch does look big but doesn't feel big. It feels very comfortable.

My offerings,
I tend to think the shape of your wrist plays a big part as to how a given reference fits. |

Here's a few...
As others have stated, a flat wrist helps. |
