Any idea which reference this is? Dial struck me as being a little different. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Help identifying this Seiko
Went ahead and picked it up. 6309-7049 with an English/French day wheel. Looks like it’s in great shape and it is keeping decent time, but the service history is unknown. Strap was falling apart. Ordered new spring bars and a DAL1BP strap, but I suspect it will be a little too stiff. Cab anybody recommend a good Seiko watchmaker to service it? I’d rather not send it off to Seiko. Does Seiko actually service the movements? I was under the impression that they swapped movements. Depends on what the OP wants.

Unsure, but the Seiko Service Center has a mostly terrible reputation, if forum posts are to be believed. I did compile a short list of watchmakers who do specialize in Seiko. Some seem to be so busy that they’re not always taking on new work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
