5513 Review Please

Experts, I've been on the hunt for a nice, all original, clean 5513 for some time now and I came across the link below. I'm currently at the point where I don't know what I don't know. So any input would be appreciated!

Looks to be a MkIV Zubmariner, so the serial would likely be in the 7M range, more or less. Check on that. The insert looks to be a service part at first glance. Can you read the number on the back of the bracelet? Not the endlinks, the next to last link of the bracelet.

Edit: Never mind, I can see that it's a 93150 bracelet.

Nice patina, but I'd ask for a UV photo of the dial and hands to see about the tritium. I'd also want to see a movement photo, and photos of the serial and reference numbers.

Also, looks like the dial might have some dust and/or smudges on the surface, but could also just be on the crystal. You'd want to make sure the dial is perfect.

Case looks nice, and as Dan pointed out, the insert is later.

Not sure what to make of those UV photos. They look a little odd, but maybe it's because of the way they were taken. I'd ask for one photo from a distance showing the full dial and hands under full UV.

Also, the lume plots look a little rough in spots. Could just be that some of the tritium has flaked off? Usually you'd want to see a waffle texture.

For comparison, here's my 5512 and (former) 1665 under UV. This is the kind of uniformity you want to see on original tritium.

Swish, thank you very much for the response and photos. The seller said that no plots really glow that much under UV except for the 12 o clock and some very little spots on another plot (in the photo). He said that means those areas might've been "touched up."

There have probably been some lume repairs. They seem to look good to the naked eye, and if the original lume had flaked off, the repairs might be an improvement. But obviously it's more desirable to have a dial with attractive, intact, all-original lume. For some people it might be a dealbreaker, but if you like the watch, it could be a negotiation point.
