The two will wear very differently on the wrist if that matters.

I much prefer Day Dates for a precious metal Rolex. They scream gold Rolex (to me).

I’d go DD and add a SS blro

I like this idea but if only one, I'm taking the BLRO.

When i chose to get my Day-Date this summer, i too gave a thought to the Meteorite GMT.

Since i already have a Submariner, which design wise is very similar to a GMT, i made a comparison between the Meteorite GMT and the Day-Date i wanted. I thought of every single aspect that i could think of - some objective, some important to me, and when i drew a line, Day-Date won.

No regrets in getting the Day-Date. The one that you love more and fits your collection better long term, that is the one to get.

Good luck!

Our if these two, meteorite all day but if 40mm RG Olive then I would probably sway towards that.

Pepsi Meteorite. That's an extremely hard watch to secure from an AD.

For actually wearing it frequently I will take the meteorite Pepsi any day. For a safe queen and once in a while occasion I will take the YG DD. It depends on the purpose and lifestyle

Wow. I love both of these watches.

I actually own the Pepsi meteorite but I think I’d rather own the DD ombré green in 36. Has to be the 36 though.

But that’s mostly because I have a very heavy Rolex sports watch collection. If I had more variety in my collection, my answer may change. So, it depends what else you own.

That is a tough one.

If it has to be 36 then definitely the GMT.

If it could be 40, that’s really hard but I think I’d go DD40.

If it was a DD 40 then I would do that and get a SS BLRO…;but 36 vs Meteorite I would go GMT. Also…down the road the Pepsi will be rarer.

Depends on wrist size.

I’d generally lean toward the GMT, but if you have very slender wrists then the 36mm might be the better bet if the GMT will look too big.

All great pieces though!

I’m a piece unique and meteorite fan. So the choice would be easy for me. Every meteorite dial is different from all others. But this is a real no-lose decision
