Which GMT would you keep? Batman or Bruce Wayne
Hello all,
I bought my Batman about 2 years ago and recently it has become my daily, and I had an itch for a GMT on jubilee because I've never owned a jubilee bracelet before - I've had Oysterflex, DayDate, Oyster bracelets but no jubilee. I did inquire if it's possible to order a jubilee bracelet, and I've had different answers, my AD said I need to wait 5 years for the warranty to end, another AD said they only change bracelets for Datejusts. After asking for a Bruce Wayne (126710GRNR) on jubilee, Pepsi, or Sprite on jubilee, my AD told me he's getting a Bruce Wayne but on Oyster. I am deciding whether I should buy the Bruce Wayne and use it as my daily and sell my Batman since I really like the look of the Bruce Wayne, or if I should just keep my Batman and keep waiting for a GMT on jubilee? If you had to choose between Batman on Oyster or Bruce Wayne on Oyster, which would you choose and why? |

GMT on Jubilee would be my preference as well. That is my favorite bracelet on any Rolex that comes with the option.
Between the Batman or Bruce Wayne, I think I would personally choose the Batman. I just love the way the blue really stands out on the bezel and GMT hand. The BW, the grey is a little too subtle for me. Either one is a great piece and there is no wrong answer. It all depends on what you like more. Let me ask you this......If you bought the BW, would you still want to try and buy a Jubilee bracelet? If so, you're basically in the same situation you are in now. Next question.....If you had already bought a Jubilee bracelet and it was on your Batman right now, would you even consider the BW on Oyster? If not, then I would pass on the BW/Oyster. |

I have jubilee bracelet Rolexes and could have purchased the BLNR on jubilee or oyster…selected Oyster as it fits the watch better in my opinion. Personal taste and maybe depends on how you will use the watch.
I would never take the black/grey over the BLNR in either form. |

I would take both. Just order the bracelet separately.

Not sure what the rules are in Canada, but I bought the Jubilee bracelet when I paid for my Pepsi BLRO. They said Rolex just started to let you order them and it would take a week or two. Here is the SKU Custom SKU: 0019 7816 and the ref# B20-69200-20-E1, maybe this will help? The price was $2100 USD for the Jubilee. They are both on the same receipt dated 23 Sep 2024. I can’t imagine that they stopped allowing orders for bracelets in less than 3-months. Hope this helps!!! Last edited by rob; 2 December 2024 at 02:21 PM.. Reason: Additional info |

I’d contact RSC in Toronto directly to see if they will sell you a jubilee bracelet.

Batman for me of those two.
I’d persist with the bracelet search - as of my call last week, RSC UK definitely sell them. You can visit RSC in person and they will fit there and then for you. Maybe try one of the US RSCs rather than your AD. A simple phone call should get you the answer pretty quickly. |

Keep what you have, configure it the way you want it, don’t chase a replacement in the hope you like it better.

I just ordered a jubilee for my BLNR a month ago, it's definitely possible. Sounds like your AD just doesn't want to go through the hassle. Try calling the RSC directly - look up Rolex service center on Google Maps and start calling them.
I'm not a fan of the black and grey. I love my BLNR - even with a pretty nice collection, I still reach for this one the most. |

BLNR easily, for me.
I get the appeal of the SS GRNR and I do like it myself, but I prefer the pop of color that comes with the BLNR. I think it’s the best of the color ways in the GMT lineup. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

BLNR by a Bat-mile.
I ordered a jubilee bracelet for mine on November 4th and received it last week. My AD provided initial reluctance back in the spring when I tried. So this time I started off with "my colleague at work was able to order a jubilee, would you mind checking to see if Rolex updated their policy?" No need to forfeit the oyster. Now I have both. |

Between the two I would choose Batman as I do like color on the bezel on a GMT. If I wanted a monochrome I would go the original all black. The gray / black on BW just doesnt sing to me as much.

GMT on Jubilee. After that all GMT models are the same exact watch and is only up to your color preference.
I greatly prefer the BLNR over the other GMT models I have owned like the BLRO, CHNR, etc…

If it's a GMT on jubilee that you want then I'd wait it out unless you can find an AD willing to order you a jubilee bracelet by itself.
That's very hit or miss because every AD seems to have a different answer as to if the bracelet can be ordered. |

BLNR on Jubilee is the one. I truly love this watch. Bruce Wayne and Batman can both take a flying leap, their silly names will never be mentioned with my BLNR in the same breath!!
