If the condition of both watches was the same which watch would you choose and why?

I would always buy the Rolex over a Tudor in the same condition for the same price any day.I have owned many Tudors but when I started collecting watches a Tudor was what you bought when you couldn't afford a Rolex.

I personally like the Tudor chronos over the Daytona because of the date feature. A Tudor is a Tudor and a Rolex is a Rolex. 25 years ago I bought a new Gmt and my friend bought a Tudor Submariner cause that's all he could afford at the time. Every time we went out people would ask him if that's a fake Rolex he had on and he would go into this explanation on how it was like a Rolex and had Rolex parts etc etc.We are still good friends and I tease him now and tell him its ok to put it on now people collect them

I vote GMT.
I have a GMT and a Tudor Chrono. While I really like the Tudor, it's not a Rolex.

GMT vs 79180? As much as I love Tudors I'd have to go with the 1675. Now if it was vs the 79170................that would be a tough one.

1675 first and the 79180 second.
Get both then you don't have to decide.
It might also depend on the condition of each watch as it presented itself on the used market. A great 79180 with box & papers might be better than an overpolished 1675. So you need to do some more thinking
