Worth Part Exchanging

First post, so not sure if I am in the right section (would this be old enough to be considered vintage?) but was wondering if anybody can give me a rough idea how much this old Rolex is worth as px for a new or pre-owned Rolex.

The reason I asked is that 3 jewellers have given me very wide difference in valuation. Are there any online guide on price?

Also, in the current economic climate, what % discount should I aim for at a new Datejust?

Thx for reading :)

It all depends. That Rolex that you have there, I have seen similar ones go for anywhere between $1800-2500 Cad and I am going to guess with that omega that it may go for $250-450.

On the Mens watch, Use the end of a paper clip to compress the pins. Then post the model number from one side, then atleast the first 3 of the serial # from the other side up here on the forum..

Removed the bracelet and found - the serial have been scratched off!

That got me a bit worried so phoned my father to ascertain the history. He said it was a grey import and he had it opened and verified 10 years ago at a dealer so knows its genuine.

With no serial; anybody else have any clues or want to hazard an educated guess?

Rolex looks very nice I would guess from the 1950's. If you take the case back off it will have markings to give the date. Roman numerals indicating the quarter it was made and year. Difficult to value I would want at least £1000

Mine's a 6494 from 1956, it has a roulette wheel - alternates between red and black numbers.

Looks like a 6694 Oysterdate manual wind from the early '60s or so. With the riveted bracelet it is probably worth about $900-1100 (I guess that would be about 600-700 pounds sterling?). Of course a dealer will likely offer far less in a trade. The inner case back should have the model number and production date (to the quarter), though the case SN would have been better, as case backs can be replaced.
