Gilt 1016 with new domed tropic
Just back from a service (and boy am I glad to have it back) and a crystal change from flat-profile service type to NOS domed. It sure makes a difference (not that it looked bad before).
Before Now I know that someone is going to ask about the strap! It's a 4.6mm thick German-made Graf Champion. There is an online European dealer that carries them (in black, light, and dark brown): www.watch-band-center.com

Back again, I really like this watch. A great watch for Chicago. Both have a lot of character.

Great looking watch. I love the strap (looks like some serious rawhide).

Awesome Explorer! One of my grails. Get a leather jacket, sunglasses and a Harley and you would be set to go.
