'Why trolling watch shops is bad for you' or 'I need more cash!'

So on Saturday we managed to hit four high-end shops (coulda hit Birks if we hadn't spent so much time outside Black's, ahem) and I have a whole new perspective on grail watches....

I still want a PAM210 in a big way, but others I drooled over are as follows:

Glashutte Original Sport Evo on a bracelet, black dial
Glashutte Original Senator perpetual calendar
JLC Master Compressor Memovox
Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Chronometer, blue dial
JLC Reverso (large size with white dial, with the PR on the back)
Eberhardt Nuvolari
Panerai PAM190
Panerai PAM233
Panerai PAM220

Come on... Super7!

Well, nice choices there.

I'll take all of them too, but how come there's not a PAM 217 on that list?

Oh, and by the way, shouldn't the thread be re-titled "Why trolling watch forums is bad for you" ?

I had one on my wrist and it is awesome, but I can't wear a destro on my right wrist and on the left it just doesn't work for me.

Amen! I totally agree with that statement... I wonder how many forum fanatics buy watches due to the 'passion' they see online from their buddies????? Then get that watch and go 'I dunno if this is for me' and flip it later on... prolly about 99.9% hahahahahaha

Yes, Launch Mini has so much passion for the brand he is the only guy I know that has his AD on speed dial on his cell phone (no joking - he really does!).

I wasn't in Atomics car more than 15 minutes, when my phone rang and it was my AD calling me

This is absolutely true. I think John called his AD later in the weekend and yes... they were on speed dial.

I would say more than a couple dozen, Sam. But that's just a guess.
