Rolex GMT 1675

Hi dears, nice to meet u!
What do you think about this Rolex SS GMT ref 1675 serial # 1.43 miillion circ 1966 transitional model with Mark 1 matte black dial, lightly patina'd luminous indexes and hands and original 24 hour "mini" hand. Lightly faded red and blue so called "Pepsi" bezel. WIth period Rolex SS rolled link jubilee bracelet dated 1966. With Rolex vintage box and original large chronometer cerficate dated 1967, perforated Rolex warrantee papers, and Rolex GMT booklet.
Is it completely original included the dial?
Waiting for your answer, i sen you best regards.

Hi Fabio, it sounds like a nice watch, but I think before anyone can answer your question you may need to post some photographs.

Welcome to TRF.........

I see a scratch on between 1 and 3 can't say from the picture whether it is on the dial or on the crystal

I would tend to think so. This is getting to the last of the gilt dial era though the mini hand was correct for a matt/white for a while longer.

I've seen gilt/gloss in the 1.44 mil range, though with Rolex it's always tough to say when something started and stopped. When the case was used can have a bearing on what dial was available at the time.

With Rolex there is always a crossover. In any event the case and lugs look very nice and the patina is a wonderful match. That it comes with the extra's is such a bonus.

Great watch, and with a great package. The dial/hands are correct and I doubt that late of a watch would have the gilt dial.

Only thing wrong is that it isn't in my collection. Looks like a nice set!!!!
