Welcome to the fellowship. Who knows whter he has willed it to somebody else. So ask him nicely and see whether he will give it to you now itself.

welcome
Took my son and daughter-in-law out to eat last week and wore my new rolex DJ, it was the first time my son noticed and mentioned my watch even though I have worn several nice ones in the past, including: a vintage 1960 SS Seamaster, newer full-bar 18K/SS Constellation-Chrono, 18K/SS Ebel Sport and nice vintage 1940's 14K Hamilton Tank and 14K Hamilton Thinomatic. He said "wow, is that a rolex?....niiiiiiice!"
I was shocked, in that, I was always modestly proud of my collection of watches and after several years of wearing nice watches it wasn't until I stapped on the Rolex that he actually noticed and/or said something. I can't wait until the day he gets his first and we can sit back over a frosty-one and compare notes. I'm sure it won't take him as long to find his way here as it did me. Welcome |
