Your first problem is finding a SS Skydweller at retail...
Good luck with that one. Second is what your 2001 GMT's are being advertised at by the traders & what a dealer will offer you as either a straight sale or trade up are 2 very different things. If you want the most for your watch you will have to sell private - but do you really want the hassle of meeting a complete stranger & haggling over the price & then standing there counting out 10 or 11k in cash??? The security implications of that make my teeth itch... By all means go for the Skydweller if that's what you want, but I don't think it will be the simple 'exchange' you have figured in your head. My guess is you will have to add some cash to make a deal, even retail for the Sky dweller at an AD.
