I never took a lot of pictures and definitely never of my wrist. I need to get used to this now
Am I the only one thinking that it is not easy to capture a nice pic of a watch ? I feel like my phone doesn't do the job but anyways...here it is. P.S. I considered both, gmt and SG Tudor. Still went Sub. |

I’ve tried the blue with intent to buy quite a few times. Whilst the blue dial is beautiful, the whole package seems too shouty to me. For some bizarre reason, it seems to me to look completely different on the wrist to what it does in the cabinet. Beautiful watch but I couldn’t wear it. Quote:

The Gmt's in these pictures are nice no doubt The arguments why I did not choose the TT GMT although I do like the green writing on the dial and the green second timezone hand: - No need of three timezone indicators (I don't travel that much) - The bezel is a bit busy in TT - The Submariner clasp - The Submariner legacy Guys. I don't want to span this out for ever. We just break it down for future people who might have the same dilemma and stumble over this thread. I tried another pyjama wrist shot this morning Still, the pic does not caption the time piece very well. I would need a camera upgrade to do so but anyways...a couple people asked for more photos so I'll attach one more... Ciao P.S. @Lawisme My wife told me the bluesy was for the James Bond of Dubai Meaning it's very bling bling and in your face Made me laugh and kind of killed it for me |

Guess what happened when she saw the blue face in person- she couldn't stop staring at it. She's in love with it now. It took some time, but I eventually made the right decision. I hope the black face is the right decision for you, and you don't lose a few thousand dollars due to making the wrong decision, or picking the watch that you will let it later it gets sick of and regret |

Bluesy may be mesmerizing, but the Black TT is more "quiet", more subtle and time-resilient in its own right..

Well, practically it was a spontaneous non-WIS opinion. Of corse I do estimate my wife upmost and she knows me in and out what helped her coming up with a hammer argument. But all-around I just think decisions in a couple should be made together...but remember one saying: "Happy wife, Happy life." |

Classic black beats blue bling to my eye every time - esp for everyday wear...

This thread is over two years old. I wonder if Pascal is still happy with his decision. I hope he is as I prefer the black and gold. Since Pascal pointed out his military education, and if he is/ was in the Swiss army, then it might be of interest to him that black and gold are the official colors of the U.S. Army signifying knowledge and achievement!

I don’t think the average used car salesman can afford a Bluesy.

If one and done. Black. I would actually get the SS version. For a collection blue. Get the black SS and in the future with the funds you save get a blue DJ41. I want to say the difference around $5k difference for a SS and a two tone. You can pick up a SS blue DJ41 for around 7k. So for an extra 2k you can get 2 iconic rolexes.
