Can any of you guys post a picture of the oyster flex on your wrist? I’m curious as to see the fitting, especially around the bottom of the wrist

I owned the RG w/ rose dial and black subdials.
I liked it but did not love it, so I flipped for something else. Within the Rolex lineup, the WG w/ steel is the fan favorite. I just did a poll recently and it was #1 very handily amongst ALL modern Rolex References past five years. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=677599 Personally, I am liking more and more YG w/ black subdials. But I think the AP 44rg is the nicest PM sports on rubber under $50K. Actually I just saw it tonight and was more comfortable than I imagined, though a bit big for my small wrists. |

Very close top two between WG/Steel and RG/Black. YG/Champagne #3.

Seems i prefer one of the least-loved versions and enjoy having it here. Bottom line, as everyone here says get what YOU love.

How many times do I have to tell you you’re 100% wrong?
Just because rolex calls the dial “steel” does not mean its stainless. The whole point of white gold is that it looks like.....steel. You’ll notice Rolex does not make dials out of stainless steel. Only brass and PM. |

I asked this question to one of our most trusted gray and he said, WG>YG>RG.

I had an all gold Rolex and was careful as I could ever be with it. But it showed fine scratches so easy. I went with a white gold Daytona this round. I know all gold is soft, but thought the gold mixed with other metals to make the white gold may hold up just a bit better. And possibly hide minute scratches to the eye better. My all gold sub was getting what looked like tarnish discoloration around the dial, more so where the brushed gold was. My AD took it off with a soft cloth what she could get to, but without a service from Rolex, I think the little nook and crannies wold have been hard to clean. Approved liquid cleaners would not take it off. I did find this out of an article. I was reading an article and it sad anything which is below 24 karat gold can tarnish or discolor under certain circumstances. So maybe I will fight it even more with the white gold lol So here's my baby now! |

For me, it would be:
1) YG Silver Dial 2) RG Chocolate Dial 3) RG Black Dial Some may argue YG champagne or YG black should be in the top 3 which I would/could understand but I think vast majority of people would undoubtedly pick YG as the #1. As my dealer put it: there’s no waitlist for RG or YG oysterflex. If you find one, it can be had at a discount. There’s a waitlist for YG and you can’t get it at a discount. |
