Whether it makes financial sense to you, aside, it is a great piece. I was tempted by my AD at one point to get the RG GMT, but had my heart already set on the RG DD40, which has been my daily driver for the last several months. It is a beautiful piece.

I recommend you do it. I have a Everose Daytona and it’s my favorite and not delicate at all. Rose gold is stronger than YG and it has some platinum in the Everose so it’s very strong and not delicate at all!

You will love it

The weight of Rolex 40mm are amazing.

If I were ever to buy another Rolex, this might very well be it.

It is a very handsome piece.

Tried both and the full RG is just too nice and had to go that way. Tough to go wrong with either, but personally love the way the bezel and full RG compliment each other. Don't really upload too many new pics here nowadays or resize, but the indoor lighting doesn't do this watch justice. Super comfy fit too

Rose gold CHNR is one of the most beautiful timepiece.

But if you have to spend all your saving to acquire this watch is definitely not worth it. This is just a luxury item, you should buy only when you have plenty money left.

I have rose gold AP 15500OR with full bracelet, it's lot more weight than SS. I don't wear it everyday. I think SS or TT is more suitable for daily wear than full PM.

CHNR TT is so unappealing IMO. That Rose gold is fireeeeee. It is stunning. I’d do it.

it's an awesome piece. almost bought one myself. but don't think i'd want to pay msrp, probably 5k less gray at least.
don't think weight is an issue, at 220g ?, but obviously that would depend on you.
savings could very well be an issue. i for sure spend way too much of my money on watches. i see watches as in investment in themselves, at least compared to other things i'd likely waste my money on.
but of course i have real investments and savings too. just be wise :)

Worth it, but as others stated only if you can afford it.. I’m trading my TT Rootbeer for the PM Saturday at my AD! Only wore the TT twice and got a feeling this will start my PM addiction

I would rather go for two tone if you get a chance.

This is bad information.

Yes, no way RG is any softer than WG or YG. So long as you don't treat it like a nice watch, no problems. Really not that much different than SS

So. I popped in to the AD and saw the watch. It's a beauty, no doubt.

They also had a 40mm Yacht Master in two tone rose gold with a black face. That also looked very nice.

What do folks think of that watch? Any good?

The yacht master is nice, but IMO the TT Rootbeer looks better. I considered buying one at one point and put my TT Rootbeer next to it. The gloss black dial on the Rootbeer pops way more than the matte dial of the yacht master. I passed because of that and they looked too similar.

Do you want a TT GMT? If so, it’s one of the best TT Rolex out there IMO.

I like the full gold GMT. But the YM was an unexpected surprise, it looked quite nice.

The full gold GMT is my fave, I suppose as it contrasts completely with my Milgauss Z Blue

The RG GMT is beautiful. I’d pick that over the Yachtmaster.

Don’t spend your entire savings on a watch especially during these times. Like a previous poster stated if it’s 10% or less of your savings ok but (I cannot say it emphatically enough) DO NOT SPEND 40K OF YOUR SAVINGS ON A WATCH IF YOU WON’T HAVE A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF THAT SAVINGS LEFT AFTER THE PURCHASE.

That being said, if it won’t drain you, I say go for it. I just looked at one at my AD (there’s a whole thread of me getting lambasted for a simple question) but chose against it because I can’t justify spending the money on a “want” right now.

Same for me. I love the YM but when I put my CHNR next to it I passed.

ya, pretty much came to the same conclusion when I saw both at the AD and went with the CHNR. The platinum bezel of the YM does shine reaaaaaally nice tho

Rose gold GMT is a great piece. I recently picked up a WG blro but the rose gold was next on my list.
