That sounds like a fair deal for a Smurf. I doubt you could do much better, but again who knows, it's not a hot piece. Before lockdown I visited three ADs I know and all had a smurf on display and my main one was very itchy to move his, I don't doubt for a minute that he was willing to discount his 25% or more to move it and turn the money.
The Smurf is a great blue in person.

For all of those that replied, thank you. I am planning on visiting the AD to try on the model, I am just concerned about the weight but am in love with the watch.

For all of those that are asking or saying this is fake. What would I possibly gain by making this story up?

Well...a 25% discount off of 60k is 45k, so seems legit!

OP is in NYC so retail is $38,350 before the 8 pct sales tax.

It’s my favorite Sub. Go for it.

I have the smurf, that’s an amazing deal and you’ll love the watch.

I haven’t seen one in an AD since last fall and I’ve visited several in three US states. I think it was scheduled for discontinuation prior to covid. That’s speculation, of course. But i used to see them all the time. Same for the ‘18lb. My local AD had a ‘18lb for over a year, sold it in fall of 2019 and doesn’t think they will see another one. At least as of feb, the last time I stopped in.

Would you happen to know how much heavier is it than the SS versions? I’ve tried on certain PM watches just not a PM sub.

I got 20% off from my AD and jumped all over it. At 25% you can't lose, especially if they discontinue it on 09.01.

SMURF Question

I’m curious to know if OP made the plunge or not. I was “encouraged” to consider the piece by my AD but I’m currently not comfortable to spend $30K+ on a watch. It sure is easy on the eyes and comfortable on the wrist though.
