Can you do it, sure. Will it harm the watch, hopefully not. Its a mechanical device which works with oils and has rubbers gaskets. Is a hot sauna/hot tub good for the watch. No. Cold water is not an issue as in diving if you can stand the cold the watch clearly can.

ISO 6425 dive watch testing is conducted up to 25c (77f) and the temperature shock testing only goes up to 40c (104f).

That’s lukewarm at best.

In a pool or sauna your watch doesn't get much hotter than this.

The gaskets and the internal oils will be just fine. Any sports Rolex, Patek or AP that has ok seals will survive even the world Sauna championships.

Nitrile synthetic gasket temperature range is -40f to +250f.

I use my sub and dj 41 all the time in hot tub with no probs. Tbf watch and wrist probably close to thermal equilibrium anyway and hot tub water at 100F or 37C won’t blow the case seals. Probably. A load of
Worry about nothing IMHO but don’t sue me of yours leaks.
