Yeah. It's a rubber strap with titanium in the middle of it. So we know where our money goes - into the invisible core of a rubber strap.

I saw one on the telly a couple of weeks ago. (At least I think it was this watch). Beautiful aesthetic. Great combination of colours. Pity about the rubber strap.

As if stainless steel is really worth anymore? I get what you're saying though.

Tried one on once and it is truly magnificent. Too rich for my blood, but if I could, I would.

It really is a stunning watch but I would want one with a full metal bracelet. Not a fan of the OF.

You know that is true, but even knowing it, I suspect most would not care nor would it change their view of the OF band. In fact Rolex ADs actually the OF a "bracelet" due to the inner metals.

I think this is one of the best looking watches Rolex makes. When it first came out I tried it on and...I discovered the OF bracelet looks stupid on my wrist. I’ve seen other people wearing them just fine, but on me the OF looks like an inner tube for a truck tire.

It did feel a little "dainty" on my small wrist.

I really like it. But if I was able to spend this amount I would want a full gold watch as well. I wouldn't buy the Daytona with the rubber bracelet either. This is something extra next to the DD or gold Daytona or gold AP/Patek/...

I don't hear these issues ever for a Richard Mille or AP or a 100k Patek on a rubber or leather strap.

Any reason why this watch isn’t more popular? hardly any incomings.

Love the YM in gold

Christ on a bike! What's a 100k Patek rubber strap got in it's core? Nothing as mundane as titanium I suspect.

I'd be interested in one of these if it came in white gold at a size <42mm.

for me, it is cost. Besides, don't feel I'm someone who can pull off rose gold, though this one has made me try to convince myself otherwise as it really is a nice watch. Then I remind myself of the cost...PM pieces tend to not last with me, I'm a steel guy at heart anyway

I just got one earlier this month and I am really enjoying it. 10% discount at my AD. Love the proportions of the case, the Glidelock clasp, and the way the matte highlights the rose gold.

As others have mentioned, there are features of this watch that will turn people off. It is definitely not your traditional Rolex. I must say, it was refreshing to walk in, see a watch in the case, and buy it at a discount!

I will never understand putting a Rolex on a rubber bracelet. But to each their own. This watch would never be one I would buy.

To try OYSTERFLEX is to adopt it. Very high comfort. Elegant and less bling bling than an all-gold watch.
This watch is amazing in real life.

Saw this watch in a restaurant recently, he was wearing the YM whilst his girlfriend was wearing a TT DateJust. Both had clearly had time in the sun somewhere and their tans set off the watches beautifully.

Snake? I thought you were dead. (Couldn’t resist.)

I’ve seen the watch several times, & while it does look very nice in the case, whenever I tried it on I thought the OF detracted from the beauty of the watch. Kind of like having blacked-out rims on a not otherwise blacked-out sports car. (Maybe in a full rose gold bracelet, though.)

i had the 116515ln daytona on oysterflex. its a very nice watch but ultimatley didnt fit in with me, i dress very smart and it kinda doesn't work with the oysterflex. another thing that bothered me about the oysterflex is its not quite black, at least to my eyes, its kinda a faded black almost slightly grey.

Anyhow, have tried on the ym on oysterflex 3 times now i like how it looks but its very underwhelming with not much weight to it, if you are interested in this model you are 100 per cent better off buying the daytona, much nicer watch for a little more money.
