The blue always looks a bit purple to me depending on the light, even on the newer bezel..I hated the faded pastel colors when it was first released but wanted it anyway.

I have been waiting for almost 2 years for a call from my AD on the BLRO ,so yes I am jealous :>)

I wouldn't quite let that one go yet. Give it some time. When I got the BLRO, it was also a slow one for me. I liked it, but didnt wear it that much. AFter a while I really grew to really love it and now I cant ever imagine letting it go.

I own the Blro and absolutely love it, but your watch do as you will.

Leave it stuck away for 2 or three weeks. If you don't miss it, sell it. Regrets come some years later. Personal experience on that one.

But I think this is the first time where a watch just did not appeal to me in real life.

The colors on the bezel is a chameleon - from black to navy to blue. But I am finding the red and blue to be not as vibrant as I prefer - like the blue for the BLNR for example. The red and blue is a bit too faded - the red looks more maroon/wine, for example.

Now my friend offered me a straight trade with his black 116520 with APH dial. On one hand, i think that's an excellent trade - But on the other if I let it go this quickly I fear I might regret it.
Has anyone ever acquired a piece, not felt it, let it go quickly, to find themselves regretting it much later on?

Anyway on to pics!
Bolded is the reason I haven't gotten this reference. It seems that Rolex just can't get this one just right. I actually don't mind the muted colors if that was the way it's supposed to be, but the colors seem to vary bezel to bezel. It's too much of an experiment for me.
