Just double checked, I think they only carry Rolex in pre owned. I stand corrected.

This was a simple thread meant to give hope to those on lists. Nothing more. Cheers.

I appreciate that but I've lost all hope for the watches I was supposedly in line for...But thank you!

This is true. One of the ADs I work with says, "there are four watches everyone wants, the rest are easy to get if you're patient."

In late May, I mentioned to my local dealer that I wanted a polar EXP2 and an SD43. He told me he would reach out to his sister store and have them “put me on the list.” (Sister store is the actual AD)

Both stores are in well-heeled CT towns and have many clients that spend 6-7 figures a year with them. Basically, I’m a speck. Maybe I’ve spent $50k with them over the past four to five years. Further, I had never spent a cent at the sister store. My expectations were pretty low.

The EXP2 came in 7 weeks afterwards and I just got the call that the SD43 is in…12 weeks afterwards.

I recognize these are not the hottest models, but this should give hope to those on lists. Keep the faith.

I agree with you- overall spend is just one factor in the “relationship”. The SAs and managers at ADs are human beings , so other things do matter. Appreciate your post!
