It was serviced probably 5 hrs ago or so, and I cleaned it up pretty good when I got it. Hard to see in pics, but the bracelet has a fair amount of stretch and wear/scratches, and as you can see, the bezel is quite worn down. But, as most jubilee/fluted combos…it hides years of wear very well.

What a great way to honor the memory of your dad. Well done Richard

Edit: your story made me think of how cool it is that one of the ways you remember your dad was by that DJ always being on his wrist. I have to say that when I hear stories like this it always gives me pause … wouldn’t it be great to be remembered similarly by that one special watch your kids or significant others always see on your wrist.

My dad is into watches. No Rolex but has a 1970 ish Speedy and a Waltham pocket watch from the 20's. I guess this is who I got my love of watches from.
