Basically every single sports Rolex released in the 50s still looks good despite some being quite small. OTOH, the Speedy Pro Moonwatch has always been 42mm which is huge for the standards of its time but also looks awesome.

Aah but correct me if I’m wrong that includes the pushers. Hence it wears mallet. It’s a classically proportioned watch though for sure.

For whatever reason, based on experience with both, the 4 and 5 digit Datejust/Daydate wear bigger than the 6 digit variety. Not sure if it’s the lugs that make them look bigger?

This Cellini is 34mm and I dig it. But my DJ is a 41 (really closer to 39mm) and I wouldn’t go smaller.

Love 36mm! I also have a "Date" from '64 that belonged to my Dad that I love and its size (34mm) is why I went with an Explorer I. Perfect size.
