Sad to say mine is at the RSC for the second time under warranty.
Never had the date issue, but on a winder the watch is always spot on, but once on the wrist, its behavior is quite erratic. It often just stopped for no apparent reason. 1st time at RSC all they did was put it on a winder for a couple of days and check that date and time were ok. This time around I made a fuss about that not being helpful as a diagnostic approach to my problem. I expect they will just do a movement swap and send it back, but it has already been a month and they told me some non-warranty repairs were more than 6 months wait time :(

4 times is crazy. They should have offered a new one. I have the BB Pro and no issues so far.

Couple of things - First I am not a Tudor hater, I love the watch and want it to work as it should! I actually prefer it over the Rolex, call me crazy. Second, my watch came with a 2 year warranty - I guess the new ones now come with 5?

Tudor uses a hot swap service model where the movement that’s sent in is swapped out for someone else’s refurbished movement. So he’s had 4 actual movements go bad, not one lemon movement that’s been worked on 4 times. That’s an extra bad record, to me. But I agree, by the third time Tudor should have given him a brand new watch.

Small update - Rolex Beverly Hills called me this morning to tell me that yesterday they observed the watch doing exactly what I explained to them - the local hand falling behind in hours to the GMT hand. Off to service it goes, under warranty even though the watch is technically out of warranty. Also, they are changing the dial and hands to the white Opaline at my request, to which I am paying for the parts.
Will update again once I receive the watch, they say 4-6 weeks. |

Your problem sounds quite similar to the one I had, but in reverse.
It worked flawlessly on the winder, but erratically on the wrist. I sent it to the Sydney RSC (pre-shutdown) and received it back with nothing having been done. I put up with it for a while longer and thought, No! So I sent it in again, this time to the Melbourne RSC and it came back and is working flawlessly now. Love the watch, so hang in there!

Got the watch back, looks great and hopefully it runs great. They charged me $360 to turn it into the opaline version.

Owned and enjoyed the watch for two years. Date issue occurred I had watch fixed under warranty than sold it immediately. It was only a placeholder GMT until I was able to purchase my grail watch--a BLRO.

I've had a Tudor GMT for at least 3 years. My son is now wearing it, though not daily
When I wore it, no problems, not even the date wheel issue. I'll ask my son for a review. If it matters to anyone, I never use a winder. When I'm rotating watches, if they run down for lack of wear, they run down. They get wound and reset when I start wearing them again. Sorry to hear about your problems |
