I had a snoopy. Sold it. One if the only times I made money.

Hard to compare these two watches.

An incredible complication vs something relatively basic.

The snoopy is amazing. But you are comparing a watch that has value based on hype and scarcity vs a watch that is a marvel of engineering.

Gotta have the wrist for the sky dweller. And if you do... I really think it comes down to taste. On one end you have a ton of bling: fluted bezel, PCL oyster or jubilee, and size; On the other you have a navy blue strap, flat white dial, along with some brushed surfaces. If I had the wrist for both, i would probably go with the snoopy because its a little less bling.

SkyD all day.
I am a huge space nerd and I hold the SSA too high to feel comfortable buying one.
Oddly enough, all the astronauts I have met at KSC that have been on the space shuttle or ISS were wearing a Rolex.

SkyD hands down if you have the wrist for it.

Snoopy for me, you have to see it in person to appreciate the thought and craftsmanship that went into developing such a stunning watch. The silver dial looks amazing. I'm very fortunate to own the snoopy and personally looks better than my 116500ln black. I'm not a fan of the strap on the snoopy, as it appears to stiff, so I ordered the oem bracelet.

Agreed 100%
It's all getting completely crazy and I'm kicking myself for not picking up the 45th when it came out.

I know all about the Snoopy connection to NASA, but the latest Snoopy Speedmaster is an exercise in gimmickiness IMO. It's just a normal Speedmaster in a fancy suit. Now, if we were comparing the SkyDweller to the 321, then I'd probably fall on the side of the Speedy as the 321 IS a special watch. But against the Snoopy? Nah.
I don't know
I think there's plenty of gimmick factor around the 321 as well.
With the Snoopies, it's more about the novelty. They sort of stand out as a genera all of their own for all the right reasons and they're not particularly pretentious.
To me, they're a bit like Russell yoyos it's just that the numbers are a lot bigger. Lol.

Good points
I have the wrist for the Rolex but to my eye it's at my limit and it's quite flashy.
The Omega is a much easier watch to wear and enjoy more broadly for me.

Of course, the no-brainer, obvious answer is the Snoopy! 45th Anniversary Silver Snoopy Award on the left, 50th Anniversary Silver Snoopy Award in the middle.

I just am not a fan on the Sky Dweller it wears too big for a formal watch on my wrists and when traveling Id just rather a GMT. If you have the wrists to pull it off and actually travel for business its worth it, if not Id rather my DD 40

I'm in the Snoopy camp, but agree with Seth - hard to compare the two.

Also to note on the Snoopy, unlike the previous two models, this is not a set limited edition. Omega will never disclose how many they make, nor do we know how many more years they will produce it. How special of a watch it is has yet to be completely defined. Consider the NTTD Seamaster. Will it take that arc? We don't know.

I was never a fan of the SkyD so SS would be my pick, I wear mine once or twice in rotation thru the week. I kind of wish I put my name down for a 321 back in 2020 when I asked for the SS but it is what it is.

I have both (SkyD is blue) and if I had to part with one the Snoopy would survive the cut.

Love your Snoopies.
Thanks for sharing
If i had the time and resources, i would make it my mission to collect all the Snoopies as a stand alone collection.
Setting aside what they represent at their core, they are totally unique.
I wonder what Omega will come up with for the next one?
