Great advice HDHNTR,

I think I'll go with the Sub for daily wear, and the 116520 or 116509 for dress/weekends.

Although it may be difficult to justify the extra cost of the '09!?

In the meantime I can just look forward to the enjoyment of browsing/reading all of the great opinions one way or the other.

What do you think 116520 or 116509?

I love the WG dial options (the Meteorite & new P/N dial are so sweet) but I prefer the SS "exclusivity" (whether real or imagined, lol) & price. Between those two, I lean heavily towards the 116520 but if I was rich I'd have both.

Hindsight being what it is, the real choice for me if I could do it over again would be Zenith or 116520.

Thanks! Seems like we are all crazy then...but maybe that's not such a bad thing.

So....today I started the chase for my 116520. In the meantime I'll just have to be patient and enjoy my 16610 at weekends as well as during the week.

Richard, the wait WILL be worth it! You have a beautiful watch in the 16610 so enjoy it and create lots of memories with it for now!

She is a beaut of course but the one thing that is not quite perfection is the stamped steel clasp.

I'm thinking of upgrading to the much nicer Daytona clasp, if that's possible?

Although......part of me thinks that beauty is 'keeping it original'.

Nothing wrong with you. We have something called the "watch disease". Once you buy one you just can't stop. Every time I buy a dream watch I tell my wife it's the last one and a month later I am already looking to buy something else.

Since August this is my track record so far:

16600 - that I will never sell (engagement gift from my wife)
16710 - bought it flipped it within 2 weeks
PAM112K - bought it after I flipped the 16710, and sold it two weeks after
PAM176L - bought it in September, just traded it away - incoming Daytona due to arrive next Tuesday
1675 - circa 1977 currently at RSC
1680 - circa 1977 bought it TODAY!

The wife only knows that I have the 16600 and doesn't know about the others....yet. Thank god the Daytona is coming via FedEx to my office

As one poster said this forum doesn't help stop the addiction.....yet...I still find myself on TRF day and night

What's wrong with me?

There is a Daytona sitting in the case at my local AD un-spoken for. I do not remember the dial. PM me is you would like to know. I hope I did not add to the sickness.
