That's a 36mm right? To get it straight, all DJ's are 36mm, and DJII's are 41mm?

Beautiful! I love the fluted bezel.

Would someone mind explaining the difference between the Jubilee and Super Jubilee? This has perplexed me...

Yup the standard DJ is 36mm. Perfect on my 6.5" wrist.

The Super Jubilee has a hidden clasp and solid links. will post photos when I get home tonight.

The old jubilee was hollow, had a rectangular clasp...and was more probe to stretch I believe.

Thanks again for the nice comments!

That's a fine watch! I like how you have captured the colours in your photos. I guess reflections is a major part when it comes to that bezel and the bracelet.

Best,

A

Ronak,

Here you go:

Much more solid feel / contiguous look. Not that I do not respect the old bracelets.

Thanks Mark, John & Anders.

I love it, bud. That is a classic. And Im tending to lean towards an older version, like yours, vs the new 116233..
I like the subtle markers...(on champagne )..
Thats a classic..
Enjoy it...!

Thanks so much Thomas...but this DJ is brand spanking new. The 116234. Was looking for the right prices 16234, but alas, the prices I saw on the mint model I wanted was about $3K. Maybe if I was a more patient guy, I would have waited, but finally got a new watch.

The futed bezel is beautiful , an icon and instantly recognisable Rolex symbol. Your photo's are great and really show the Datejust's classic qualities off.
