which do you prefer?
neither. get a pre-2010 14060M. I love the uncluttered dial, & if I forget the date, I can look at my phone.

depends on what watches you already have...I have a GMTIIc and the Sub-C is more similar than an MG, so I might consider a MG as my next watch. On the other hand, I'm a diver, but to be honest I'm a little hesitant to wear a 7K watch which costs more than all of my dive equipment combined on a busy dive boat, banging my wrist around heavy cylinders and equipment when I have an excellent dive watch in the form of a dive computer.

I would pick a white dialed Milgauss over the new Sub-c.

Depends, do you want to blend in, or have something that is rather uncommon? I have never seen a Milgauss in the wild, but you better believe I have seen subs on quite a few wrists. I have also learned that things grow on you, you might find that you do not need a date, or you might find that the "bolt" appeals to you.

Given those two choices, I would take the GV in a heartbeat!
