We truly are a bit spoiled to have a guy like Steve here. I've done two transactions with him recently and the transactions are about as close to perfect as it gets. ANYBODY looking at vintage Rolex should start and stop with Steve M.

I agree!!! He sold me a vintage Seamaster a couple of years ago. I think I received the watch before he even got my check!!! If I'm ever in the market for a Sub or SD, he's the man I'll call.

Got my snowflake from Steve and couldn't be happier with the watch or transaction.

Steve is a great guy, who will go way out of his way for a customer. And answers e-mails faster than anyone I have ever met!!! He's a helluva guy!

Yep that be the truth!!

Steve once paid for me to go to a show. He didn't know me from Adam (no pun intended). I later found out there was a significate cost involved so I immediately paid him back Paypal + 3%. He wasn't worried about it, he just wanted me to be able to go. A true gentleman.

If all these helpful folks call their markers in, Steve, Greg, David, Tony and many others... It is going to be one hell of a party on me. BTW - I have put it in my will.

Great Family, grateful to be here!!

Mike

IIRC that dude with a project used different parts for his watch, Tim.

All Rolex, but from different references.

Steve's watch simply had an acrylic upgrade available to the watch at the time of manufacture, and a change in bezel insert to a faded one of the same reference as well.

IMHO these mods actually enhance the beauty of the watch and do not detract from its value.

Hope this helps, bro.

Nicko,

First, I thought we discussed not selling the watch. I believe I mentioned, "if you get the urge to lay down until it goes away."

When I first read the title I thought this should be in the "Who's Who"; however, this belongs here. Steve this is TRF "Hall of Fame" material. You truly are de'man, and set the bar for being a great guy.
