One question: On your new SubC, do you have 4.5 bracelet links on the 6 o'clock side?

Happy New Year!!!

Tom
Hi Tom,

Actually I took off one full link from each side and then transferred one ½ link from the '12' side to the '6' side to give me this final arrangement as in the pic below.............

Remember, the original 16610 does come with 4½ links on the '6' side.

JJ

I think two is a great number to own as regards Rolex. I have two (Sub and GMT) and I think that's it for me. They are getting overly-expensive and while I can afford a third I'd rather spend the cash on other things. That said I may get a third watch but it won't be a Rolex and it will be a lot cheaper!

Love your new Sub!

Cool that you changed your mind and got the Sub C.
I still remember what you said about the Sub C when you presented your new V-series 16610.
And good to have you back!!

Glad to hear you won't be parting with the Yachtmaster. That is my one and only Rolex right now but I hope to add another at some point. Even if I don't add another Rolex I can't picture ever getting rid of this watch.

Enjoy the 2 great watches you have and I hope you feel better.

You had the pleasure of owning both pieces for free (well, just the meager amount of interest you would have made in your savings account). Not a bad deal IMO!!!

Great two of a kind JJ. Do you like the Sub C any more or less than the 16610? Hope you get better.

Thanks JJ,

that is what I thought.

I did exactly the same with mine, in order to have a perfect centering of the clasp on my 6.75" wrist.
