If, on the other hand, your income approaches $1/4M/year and you can buy your girlfriend a Daytona with a single paycheck, then why not?
Be careful that you do not create a monster though. Next thing you know, she'll be wanting a solid gold Daytona! Don't ask me how I know this...
i feel your pain!!

Do not buy a girlfriend a Rolex. Some cultures say that the first piece of jewelry you should buy for a girlfriend is an engagement ring. Wait to get married, then buy her the expensive stuff...trust me on this.

Thats a tough one. I think it might end up being the kiss of death for the relationship though.
Kiss of death relationship rules to never be broken.
1 Never tattoo girls name on body.
2 Never buy girlfriend implants.
3.Never join bank accounts until married.
Well thats all i have but im sure there is more.

Goodluck in your descision.

I agree with this statement 100%, and this is coming from experience, unfortunately

i wish i can get a green sub but no one has it.

to be honest, if the girlfriend is a sincere and kind person, i would want to have a girlfriend like that over a green sub.

I'm envious of those who are still able to feel marriage should be a prerequisite for giving a Rolex. The unfortunate reality is that compared to the cost of divorce, the cost of a Rolex is rather insignificant.

I let my girlfriend wear some of my watches - but I'm not buying anyone a rolex that isn't my wife or kid.
If you're married, at least you can think it's "our Rolex"

I bought my ex gf a tag. It is her most prized possession. I paid just about a grand. No more than that for me.
