Sorry but that doesn't make a lot of sense...

1st it was a she and now the seller is a he??? Smells fishy sorry
+1

From those pics, you would know it's not real, especially if you have a real one to compare it to. Even if you couldn't tell from the pics, the minute you held it next the real one, you'd know... And didn't need an AD to tell you it's fake.

I noticed that "she" changed to a "he" as well...

BS is what I'm smellin' now

It's Clear that the OP was trying to pass his fake piece of crap watch though the "duck" test.. Especially since the follow up posts make no sense at all..

Nice try... Now go away

How many times are we going to get baited into these questions?

This is an obvious complete fabrication. From the first post, you can tell he is doing market research.

I saw to the Mods, no more of these threads.

These are counterfeiters looking to see what flaws experts (or hobbyist) can point out.

Anyone that has owned a Daytona will know from 100 feet away what complete garbage this watch is.

And he paid $7,000 only to ask if it's real after the fact???/

And even better, he got his money back????????

WOW. If that is not a whale of a story....

Sorry guys but my info is NOT a fake story. Everything I stated is true and I'm not pulling a scam. As for the gender of the seller I still don't know. The name was too foreign for me to determine. I stated at the beginning that I'm new to Rolex so NO I didn't recognize it as a fake. I took a chance at buying it because of the price (and I knew the risk). I WILL NOT wear this with the Rolex name on it as I stated earlier. I'm not that much of a low life. If it works as a cheap watch I plan on using as such. When it stops working I will destroy it.

I thought you had a Daytona already?

I thought I read that you received a refund, but he let you keep the fake?

I'm confused.

Fair enough. However, you have to realize there are plenty of "data miners" out there looking for info to perfect their fakes. So if you are legit, why not post a link to the completed eBay auction, and/or give us the auction # and seller's user ID?

Very good point!

My guess is that it will never happen. No one pays $7,000 for a watch to ask questions later. At least no one with a "real" Daytona on their wrist.

I usually don't post about silly things and I can't explain why I have here. But, it appears that the OP thinks he's pulling a wool over our eyes (like so many others).

I am surprised this thread hasn't been locked and the OP hasn't received a PM from a ninja mod.

Amazingly, these tired threads keep getting sympathetic replies and advice. I would never tell this guy why his watch is garbage on the off chance that he takes the info to make a better fake. I for one, am not going to facilitate the production of fakes. That is why these threads are started in the first place. It is a litmus test. I am not taking the bait.

Sorry, but the story is as believable as a Disney fairy tale.

That statement alone will get this guy banned.

I thought he got his money back? Now the seller wants $500 after determining it is fake?????

Sorry my man, I call BS on the whole story.

This is not a fake discussion forum.

The suggestion that you would keep a fake Rolex and remove all the Rolex branding so as to wear it as a day to day watch is absurd.

In fact the whole story is crap.
