He should get all those diamonds removed, install original rolex parts back on the watch and make her a custom piece with all the extra bling.

Now everyone's happy.

In a case such as this, do you tell your friend the truth, or do you just let him enjoy his "bowflex". I call it that because it has a lot of working out to do to even begin to resemble a real Rolex.

I hate these situations...

I'd get friends with better taste.......

It's nicer than anything my wife ever bought me. Is your friend a rapper, pro athlete, or drug dealer. All that matters if he likes it. Surely we all know its a Rolex represented at its worst and that it screams look at me I think I'm richer than you. Hey that is besides the point. If he was a good friend I would laugh at him and tell him to leave that garbage at home or pay our bar tab when we go out. Then i would say i hope it came out of her bank acccount. If he was just a so so friend I would have bit my tounge just like you did.

Yep, he's a so so friend so I didn't even want to go there. I honestly don't think it's a Rolex under all that bling. I don't even think the bling is real either. Ah, whatever, to each his own.

So you ridicule a so so friends gift from his wife without knowing if it's real or not?

Fair enough but if you would post something like the below on any of my watches I know I would be p"#¤d.

"It was hard for me to say this as I had thrown up in my mouth a little bit."

"just let him enjoy his "bowflex".

"even begin to resemble a real Rolex."

"Already called the state for a handicap permit"

"Hahaha. But will it blend? God I hope so. "

"Haha!!! I don't even think Vladdy has these..."

I hear ya, you have a point. Wow, you even consolidated all my comments into one post. Doing that DOES make it look pretty bad.

Mods, please delete this thread, I honestly wouldn't want to cause anyone any heartache.

You reported that you didn't laugh in his face ... Then you are a true pal

Don't get me wrong, if it was a fake I'd agree with you 100%.

I'm almost positive it was fake, but like anything in this world you can't be 100%.
