So, having worn one of the Nato's on the SD for a day now, I am firmly in the SS Bracelet camp. However, as a man, I tend to be naturally drawn to an occasional bit of 'strange'! For instance, my 2012 Range Rover is clearly a far better car to complete the 2hr drive to work than my 1995 bag-of-nails Land Rover Defender...but doing the journey once a month in the Defender is enormous fun because it's different! It also has the added benefit of increasing my appreciation for the Range Rover the following day!

So this is how I shall use the Nato's...my bit of watch 'strange'! And to avoid messing around with the SD bracelet, it would seem appropriate to target a 1974 SD (my birth year) which can be kept on a Nato and worn once a month when I take the Defender to work.

SteelerFan: not a big fan of the suede (comfort aside) but my goodness, that is one beautiful watch...envious as hell!

Impalass: you are dead right that the SD sits too high on a leather Nato, doesn't really work.

Padi56: my comment about a top quality Nato is about the buckle, it would feel more appropriate on the watch if any of the metal was Rolex quality.

Thanks all for the contribution...enjoyed reading the responses.

Its 2013, where a sea dweller was built to go, id opt for a dive computer.
I voted SS, Natos slip and slide just as bad as a bracelet on my wetsuit. No option for rubber included. So bracelet for looks, solid construction. But that's just me.
