I say if you have the money to spend, get the watch you want regardless of what anyone thinks. Thanks for sharing.

Minute repeaters only sound "on demand"--that is, when you activate the slide or pushpiece. Grande Sonneries, an even more complicated type of striking watch, can be set to chime automatically (hours and hours and quarters combined) if the user wishes, or not--if the selector is set to "silence".

An exceptional minute repeater or sonnerie is simply a different universe of watchmaking--to experience one (even if it's not yours!) is to believe.

I do admire minute repeaters. I do. I know the watches with this feature are works of art. I do want one. :-)

However, while I know it's not about being practical, the feature seems a bit over the top regardless of whether you can turn it off or not.

I keep staring at the female's cleavage instead of all the cool watches.

Anyways, I don't have a problem with folks buying luxury watches to show their status, after all, if we really want to just tell accurate time, a cheap Casio would just do perfectly fine.

Cool video, as for the DJ running backwards they probably filmed it zooming in and in the clip showed it zooming out, thus reversing the second hand.

I must admit I was lost in her boobs, as the story went these are special watches I believe the Rolex one came from Stephen King and is the Rolex equivalent of Christine.....

Most are not to my taste specifically but would not hand back the VC if offered FOC.
