The bracelet will probably stretch fast...i tend to believe presidential bracelet stretches quicker than oyster.

Probably because of the construction of the presidential bracelet. I haven't really seen stretched modern oyster bracelet but quite a few presidential/jubilee bracelets. Just my observation, could be wrong.

My dad had his yg DD 36mm on everyday for 30 years. He passed. Now I wear it 24/7 99% of the time .It would be all the time but I wear my 14060 once in a great while. I hear so much about pres band stretch. My DD like I mention has been worn every day since 1980 no doubt the band is stretched but it still strong and feels good and looks even better. Being a 18078 I know it shows less wear compared to reg. DD.

Don't think the Pres. will stretch fast, but perhaps quicker than the Oyster bracelet given similar environments. I'm basing this purely on a robustness of design thing.

If I were in a different business, sure it would be worn daily.
Customers feel they and their companies are the only ones entitled to make a profit. Agree with porschejeff and Jsan20. |

My Dad bought me one, way back in 1977.........I wore that watch everyday, every hour (other than an occasional cleaning) for over 10 years. Its a wonderful watch and works with virtually any type of clothes.......from suit and tie to jeans and a T-Shirt........

What business are you in that you feel clients would not like it.
I am a CPA and I think my clients like the fact that I am successful. Obviously, the D clients don't value my time anyway and they are the ones who probably have an issue. |

Quick question on DD's. Is the DD still in production or has (will) it be superseded by the DDII?
I like the size of the DD compared to the larger DDII, 40mm is about the max for my size wrist. |

Rolex still makes the 36mm DD. I bet it outsells the DD2. Also you have a larger selection of dials with the 36 DD.

The old standby "Presidential" will be with us for I long while IMHO. I concur with gpfps that it outsells the DD II most likely. Good value for the $.

Had one and traded it because I just could not wear every day. Too noticeable at the office and didn´t fit my super casual everyday look. Like watches I can wear every day - Sub and Speedy work well for that and I like gold or platinum leather strap watch for dress occasions. That being said, the Rolex YG DD is definitely a watch icon.

Thanks gpfps and Cc1966, glad to hear the 36mm case on the DD is not on the way out, I've still got time to save up!

I did it with a few yellow gold watches without any problem, some with bracelets and some with bands.

I did when I first got my DD wore it daily. As I bought more Rolex watches I rotate them. I enjoy wearing a different watch for different occasions. If all I had was a DD I would wear it every day.

Maybe a sky dweller would "work" better as its dressy and has the gmt function?

I used to keep this for special occasions, I was worried about scuffs and bumps!
But now I wear it everyday and that add to its character! |
