I prefer the TT myself but you should definitely try them on and see which one you prefer. I don't think a bit of gold makes a watch too flashy but it always depends on your tastes.

Me personally, I have always seen the sub a an ss or white gold, which has the ss look.
The TT look looks better on the yacht master, which is supposed to look blingy. The all yg bezel pops out at you and says look at me.

Stainless steel is good, subtle and not loud.

Here is a picture I posted when I got them back from RSC BH after a service. You can see the SS and TT side by side. I do like the blue TT.

I prefer TT,but saying you only bought TT because you couldn't afford the full gold is a silly statement.

I think TT watches look nice on other people, but for myself, I prefer SS - it just fits my lifestyle more. I do love all gold (which I can't really comfortably afford) but that doesn't really fit me at this stage of my life either.
So for me, it's SS by a mile. |

I own both, but the SS gets more wrist time.

Could depend on what else you have in your collection, but for versatility, I'd go SS.

I had the LV, and I flipped it for a 16613; I couldn't be happier.

When I was looking for my first (& up until now, my only) Rolex I was intent on a sports watch. After deciding against the Explorer and GMT/GMTII, I decided a Sub was the one for me. More specific, a14060 or a 16613. I bought preowned, so the price differential was less and therefore wasn't the deciding factor. I thought going from a G Shock to a TT Sub would be 'too much too soon'. That's why I went with SS. Now, don't get me wrong, I love my 14060 and to me, it's the cornerstone of any collection, but if I has to do it all over again I'm not so sure I would've gone the same route. Whether I'm referring to a TT Sub or a vintage 1675, well, I'll leave that up to you readers!
Good luck - remember: the chase is half the fun!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am really lost...Years back I had a TT Sub which I really liked (unfortunately I no longer own it) but it brought some unwanted attention. I always wanted a SS and now I dont know which road to take.
As far as the TT goes what is the TT clasp called? I had it on my TT Sub and would like it again if I go that route. IDK IDK IDK what to do! |

Dont get me wrong the SS will probably bring the same amount of attention who knows but at this point I dont think I care. The only issue is which one????
There is a TT Sub for sale on this site for under $5400 but it doenst have the TT clasp. What would it cost to replace the clasp? |
