Thank you guys so much for all the opinions... Looks like the results are in.
7 say keep 11 say trade 3 are indifferent. It is true, I will miss the jubilee bracelet... Even as a kid not "knowing watches" I can remember being drawn to the look of a jubilee bracelet. I kind of look at it like this... I love the classic look of my DJ face, but I really don't love the size for everyday. So the trade off in my opinion is a watch I love the look of, and would wear every day.... Besides I've enjoyed my current DJ thoroughly since I've gotten it. Ha! I love it! Really? How would I go about reaching out to fellow members and trying. |

Sounds like you want to trade, so my vote is to just do it!

Your Datejust plus $3000.00 ($500.00 per millimeter) for a DJ2 sounds like an awful deal to me. I would not consider this deal, however if you must do it to be happy then go for it.
Edit: Well congrats, that looks fantastic on your wrist! I hope you're satisfied |

If you made the trade, would you miss the watch that you traded? If not, do it.
If you think there is even a slight chance that you will miss your watch that you are considering trading, and I mean even years from now--it is a bad deal. Don't lose a limb to think that you will have a larger or better one by doing the deal. No, you will be losing a limb. Edit: I guess the matter has been settled. Wear it in great health! |

The new watch looks great!
I'm surprised by the deal, as I would have thought you'd have to pay more in the trade. |

Thanks! I will continue to dream big! It really makes me so curios as to why some people are astounded by this being a "good deal" while others claim it's outrageously unreasonable. I honestly don't think it was unreasonable in fact I must say.. I love my new watch so much ... I would have paid more if I knew I'd love it as much as I actually do.

If that is what you want you should go for it, but I think you should keep your current one.
