Neither, not a fan of the diamonds on the DD, just really not my style. The PP on the other hand is better but I prefer the cleaner face of the 5711 or the chronograph, the 5712-A, perhaps? Not sure of the ref #.

I'm a big fan of symmetry, so I'm not very fond of the 5712. Hence I've voted for the DD. But, when it comes to 5711 or 5726, I'd go Patek

Cool poll...

I could not vote because both are very nice timepieces and serve different purposes. I do need to add a 36mm DD one day...

I personally the abstract dial on my 5712-1A

The Patek looks kluged to me, lacking in artistic symmetry. I don't care how much it's worth; I could never warm to that design.

I like a plain face PP, that said I would not be in for the diamonds on the DD either but that is just me.

The PP all day long. The fact that your paying a premium for the metal and not the movement is crazy. The depreciation of a WG DD vs the PP is huge.

The Patek for me. This is one of my favourites.

I am a big fan of the DD, but would search for an older Stella dialled model without diamonds.

Rolex! More robust, will last you a lifetime, and you know where to send to service.

I actually bought that 118239. I actually don't like the diamond dial much in the end but do enjoy the watch overall. It's for sale right now in the FS section.

I like the watch so much that I saw your post/picture of it and thought 'Good looking watch!' but did not recognize it because I don't like it on MY wrist!!! Hahaha
