Don't hesitate to reach out to these trusted sellers either by phone or email and tell them what you are looking for. If they don't have it, usually they will work for you and try to find what you are looking for in your price range. They usually have multiple sources for pre-owned watches..

Glad to hear he's an honest man and stand up for his word with agreeing for a refund.
And sorry to see that you found that watch, and it was problems like that with it :( The TDC text was really hidden in the photos, I do not see it and I know it's there. So you could possibly not be able to see it before buying. |

There's a big difference between a dial that had the lume redone and a completely aftermarket/refinished/painted dial. Neither is a desirable situation but this is a contemporary two-tone Sub not some rare matte piece. If the seller disclosed the aftermarket dial and the watch was priced to reflect, I don't see a problem. But the way it was listed does seem deceptive. There's no way the seller can claim an innocent mistake with that "TDC" text present.

Glad seller has agreed to refund. That is an egregious oversight on his behalf. Tough spot for all parties. Neither want to give up their property/money without collateral.

I have dealt with the seller before on a vintage Omega Speedmaster 4.5. I found he was very professional and accommodating. Sorry for your situation but I'm glad it's working out for you.

I'm a member on another forum and have only heard good reviews about this seller.
I'm glad it worked out OP, I can understand the situation must have been extremely stressful for you...just happy it all sorted out. I can wholeheartedly recommend DavidSW and have recently bought and sold with him. Just drop him a PM with what you are looking for and he will find it for you. |
