I've been thinking very strongly of getting a no-nonsense diver and, due to the incredible movement, symmetrical lume (with the date aperture at 4:30), and perfectly executed titanium case, I was fairly certain it would be a Marine Master Spring Drive SBDB009.
Depending on what we learn of this new Pelagos movement though, it could be the wild card that edges out the Seiko. |

I'll probably add a SubC sometime in late 2015 - early 2016. That will be about it for me.

I was hoping for something spectacular this year for the 100th, like a SS GMT with a coke bezel, etc...not really sure what to think. Tudor is gaining some steam...I guess I'll have to see what happens next year with Rolex?!

No changes for me. While I'm tempted by the blue Pelagos, I've got a pretty serviceable blue SubC so I'll probably pass. And while the DD40 looks nicely proportioned, I like the DD2 a little more (and have it on my wrist now). So at the end of the day, it looks like I'm still sticking to my plan and getting -----.

Nearly pulled the trigger on an Explorer 1 yesterday! However, had gut feeling they may do something to increase the size of the OP or even possibly reintroduce the Air King . Now, I am seriously considering the new 39m Blue Dial OP to replace my never worn Air King 14010 (Blue Dial). Trouble is the dark grey dial OP is stunning. Decisions, decisions ....

The YM that was on my list has been replaced by the RG and rubber version. Absolute beauty. I haven't seen anything so achingly beautiful since Ducati launched the 916

The blue Pelagos is amazing. The proportions the in house. It is a poor mans smurf. May have to buy one as a place marker for the WG Sub. My plans are still a bronze diver, likely an Archemede and a Nomos Metro or a different Nomos with the in house swing system.

For me, DD40 is now in serious competition with other gold sport models that I wanted..

The Tudor North Flag is growing on me, but 2015 isn't a watch-buying year for me anyway. Please pity me, ladies and gents.

Not much for me.. BUT I am curious as to what other options they will have on the Rose Gold YM... RG Bracelet would be nice and maybe different colored dials and bezels come later in the year or production...?

My plan to get a Bluesy Sub this year has not changed. Had there been a new model of Bluesy made of SS I would have gone that way but back to Plan A with a 16613 or hopefully 116613 now..TT it must be!

I've been thinking about adding precious metal to my collection forever. I've always loved the DD but felt 36mm was too small and 41mm too big. 40mm however is perfect for me and might push me over the edge. I'm going to wait it out a year or two and see where preowned pricing lands haha.

I'm into the Bluelagos short-term and the DD40 in WG as something to work towards.

I think I will have to pick up the blue Pelagos. I think it looks stunning and the in-house movement is appealing to me. I am also very interested in the DD40 and think I will likely pick up a white gold one. The new movement is very impressive, but I will need to compare it with the DD2 side by side first.

A disappointing 2015 for me. Nothing excites me although YM does look interesting but I believe it is beyond my affordable price range.

Nothing really, the YM is great and on my "wish list" but likely out of my price range. I've been wanting to pick up a Tudor BB, but with the roll out of the in-house movements, maybe I'll wait and hope that makes it over the the BB sooner rather than later.

My next watch (hopefully) will be a platona (I wish). However the DD40 is really interesting, will see it in person and there's a possibility I will trade in my DD2 for it. |

Thank you all for your comments! Interesting how 'no change' is most popular followed by Tudor!

You must be delighted and surprised, I have the exact same feeling with a sublime Patek just released.
