Lol nicely put.

I can't say I speak out of experience, as I don't own a PM yet, but I think there is a right watch for every occasion.
Celebratory occasions, night outs, etc, it is nice to wear the PM.
For activities, beach, gym(if you use yours at the gym), sports, I would use SS.
It's light and cost me less and will hurt less if it takes the wrong hit somewhere.

You own a gold Rolex.

But I still enjoy my SS watches equally.

Everything you touch stats turning into gold. My name is Das, Mi Das.

I would skip yellow gold and jump straight to platinum, but probably not a Rolex as I would go classic dress watch or classic complication.

I have gone all gold, back to SS then on to TT and sometimes SS.
Will go back to YG someday, but likely WG next.

Don't own gold yet, but when I buy it I will keep my stainless pieces. My lifestyle leads me to want a more versatile piece too!

This is where I am currently at. Although, I would me more than content to just have my DD as the only PM piece in my collection. I must admit that after getting it, the want to purchase others seem to have lessened.

Still wear SS more often than YG DD due to places I go, work, shop...

Gold, then platinum then diamond encrusted. Some never aspire.

I just buy what I like. I need to get over the PM sticker shock. Been in the orbit of these enablers long enough.

I wear SS-PM all the time, rotate and come back weekly. I just really like the various references above it's composition. I am wearing a SS piece as I write this but after I put on a PM it may change lol.

After I have gone gold, it is hard to go back to buying SS. But I will make an exception for special pieces.
